The Indian Scientific Group was established in 2013, although it was incorporated in 2004. Initially, its first subsidiary focused on product certification for both domestic and international manufacturers, offering certifications in three areas: FMCS, CRS, and BIS/ISI. To expand the company, there was an attempt to form an LLP, but the Indian government did not approve the formation of the Indian Scientific LLP. As a result, the company was rebranded and incorporated as World Standards Scientific LLP in 2024.
